SES Light - 25/08/10 09:27 PM

It has come on, I want to reset it and see if it comes back on, if it does then I will go and have the codes pulled. How do I reset the SES Light?

cant remember for sure, but I dont think its much more than leaving the battery disconnected overnight. plus depending on what code it is, if it was just a one time thing, it could reset itself if it isnt a persistent problem after a few run cycles.

if your close enough, most auto parts places such as advance auto, or auto zone will read the codes for free, but usually wont clear them for you.

Disconnecting the battery overnight will do it (positive side at a minimum). You'll also lose any driving habits the computer has learned and any presets in the stereo, but it should reset the code.
