"05 fuel economy getting worst!!!! - 17/12/05 12:27 PM

Hi, Is it just my truck's fuel economy getting worst or you guy with '05 having the same problem? Because my truck only got 25L/100km last two tanks. I though may the colder weather past 2 weeks (-14C), but no improvment when the weather warmer (-2C).

So what is your fuel economy? so that I can compare to my truck and bring it to dealer.

Thanks guys!!!

Happy holidays!!!!

I hate to sound like a grinch, but PLEASE do a search before posting. I think there are at least 3+ topics out there in the past few weeks about gas milage getting worse in the winter...here are two:

and

but yes, during the summer I got around 17-18mpg..in winter I now get about 14-15mpg, its the nature of the beast (and the cold)

My last tank rated at a whopping 12 MPG. That's all city driving, short trips, with stop-and-go traffic all the time....sucky

When I brought mine home a week ago the trip computer avg. mpg was at 13.2

I have since brought that up to 17.2 mpg 600 miles into it. I am hoping I can raise that to 20mpg, then I can assume that it would be like 23mpg during the spring/summer.

it's the winter grade of gas finally being implemented. Last year i noticed i went from 13 MPG to 17 MPG in the spring. Oh well, it's better than your gas lines freezing.
