Calmini UCA grease zerks! - 14/05/04 09:50 PM

Something "they" should have done from the start!

Install was realtively easy since it was the third lift I hav put in.

Someone on here asked me to post this for him awhile back.

I did mine as well. Great pic, I wish I would have taken more throughout the install process.

Mmmmm.... chocolate? laugh

I never did put zerks in my AC ones, but loads of that while lithium grease seems to be keeping the squeaks away.

Those zerks are the way to go though. [ThumbsUp]

I did that over a year ago and got the bushings without the zerks. No matter how much grease I put up there, it still squeeks. Can you buy and replace my current bushings with these zerk easily greasable ones?

And why rrdstarr, are you working on your third lift?

I guess Calmini will send you the new black bushings if you have the old white ones. This is the the third lift I have installed Including mine! ChuckH, me, And Mike V in our club......

Also helped Schludwiller install an SLR lift in his truck. So four of them...

I have the old white bushings and just got in the new black ones. I am going to add zerks when I put the black bushings in, however with the white bushings a little spray on graphite keeps the squeaking to a minimum. It is a good temporary fix. I spray it on about once a month and they hardly squeak.
