rotors

My rotors have some ridges in them, mostly about 1 mm in depth. I took my brake pads off to change them and noticed the wear on them wasn't too uneven. Would you recommend changing the rotors even if the wear on the brakes didn't look bad?

Take the rotors to a shop and have them cut. Some places can do this while they're still on the vehicle, but that wouldn't make sense for you if you already have the pads off.

Now a days the rotors on new cars dont have enough metal on them to cut. So im willing to bet that you will have to buy two new rotors.

New rotors are fairly cheap from Auto Zone... if mine were significantly worn or scored I'd just slap some new ones on.
