Actually, we all get a year older each year and realize a little bit more how dumb the VMA's are.

Sorry, I didn't watch it and I won't watch it in the future because its too damn contrived. The VMA was cool when it was spontaneous and the censors had to nervously hang on every word and movement, but now the shit is so planned that Whitney Houston read the script about the kiss and bowed out because it was too much of a "shameless publicity stunt."

...and if Whitney Houston won't play because its too much of a publicity stunt? Please, it has to be lame.

Man, when I saw that I just about fell out of my chair.
I had my girlfriends 5 year old daughter sitting there next to me and she looks at me with a confused face.
Meanwhile mine is red the turned flush and pale.
I mean that was a huge huge fantasy that came true but how do you explain that to a 5 year old what her idoil just tounged Modonna?>

I loved the fact that they cut away to Justin Timberlake's reaction. hahahahahaha....

The use of scripts was terribly disappointing. The Ashanti/Lebron thing? Lame!!

The lamest thing was when Duran Duran came out for thier awards, and the friggin sound track for the video presentation didnt work. That was the only thing I looked forward too. On a positive note, the original lineup looks to be together and ready for new music. Cant wait.

As a musician, I must say, Duran Duran is one of the best live acts I have ever seen. Those guys(especially John Taylor) can play.

Bah, the whole thing was a lame 1/2 second tongue touch. It kinda summed up the whole show in general: scripted, lame, and typical.

Did Christina get a boob job? She looks much bustier than usual in that outfit? Maybe it's the black dye job that's making them look bigger?
Well either way she's still a skank ho! [Freak]

Brittney's the one with the boob job. Christina's larger rack is attributed to her recent weight gain... laugh

These complaints seem odd, Was anyone expecting this to be life enriching television?

I can understand if its a guilty pleasure, but to post and complain about it?

"Hey, every time I hit myself with this hammer it hurts. In fact it gets worse!"

If I may be so bold, by virtue of membership in this forum, everyone has a glass object that can show you the world. Ditch the boob tube and use it instead.

PackRat, isn't that whole point of this particular forum?? As for watching it, I didn't. My exposure to it extends to the article on yahoo about the kiss and what I've read here.

By the way you didn't run that guy over in your picture did you? [Finger] wink

I can understand complaining about something that is worth complaining about. But since some folks said they watch it every year and it always sucks, I deem that worthy of complaining about.
