"Blazing Saddles" UNCUT ??? on DVD??

Just wonderin if anyone has found Blazing Saddles on DVD that is UNCUT. I've found a few places to buy cheap, but they dont metion if they are unedited or not, has anyone bought it at all that could supply any info.

I'm not sure what you mean by "uncut" and "cut".

There are cut versions of the movie that have been sent to TV stations over the years for obvious reasons like language and content.

I highly doubt that any of the publicly released DVD versions of the movie have been "cut" in any way.

The web site IMDB until recently used to have a link that showed all DVD released versions of movies. For some reason they don't seem to do that any more. I don't know why.

Your best bet might be to get a copy of the 30th anniversary release of the movie on DVD. I have a copy of that, and I am not sure any further new DVD copies were released beyond that one. It's possible, but IMDB no longer seems to easily let you know.

I forgot to follow up, I did get the 30th Anniversary copy, and yes it is in original form, un edited, I had bought a copy of Cannonball Run once, and it was edited for lanquage and nudity, really downgraded the movie that way, and I just wanted to make sure I didnt get a copy of Blazin Saddles that was that way.

Well, you should be ashamed for buying Cannonball Run in any form.



(If you really want that movie, buy the original - Gumball Rally (which is, of course, the name of the real event).
