It was felt here in Schuylkill County, Ashland PA, I however did not feel it myself, which is strange seeing as I was 400 feet underground at the time in a coal mine. I came out several minutes after it had happend to see my boss standing there with a strange look on his face saying "did you notice anything strange in there?" Thought he was joking with me about it til I saw the news reports on tv.

I did. I hardly ate anything today and I thought I was lightheaded and that my knees were shaking. Took me a few seconds to realize that the floor was shaking too. I looked up at a fence and the chain link was moving around. Having never felt a tremor before, it was a bizarre incident.

Yeah... I definitely felt the earthquake... or tremors.

It seemed to come in two waves. I felt it (and saw objects moving and shaking). It appeared to stop, but then it started again after a second or two lapse.

I also felt a very weird feeling of lightheadedness. It was almost like being a little drunk for a brief minute and losing a sense of equilibrium.

It was very strange. I never felt an earthquake before.

Gonzo --- Did you feel the quake all the way up there in the land of Kellogg's Corn Flakes?

Guys...

IF you felt it (and post), could you also put in WHERE you were? NYMM I know is in NY (City, I think). Carlton (XOC) is in Colorado (I think) so I wouldn't expect him to have felt THIS one in Virgina (but he may have felt the 5.3 in NE Colorado Sunday night though!).

And yes, I'm in Cereal City (Battle Creek), Michigan. I work in a two buildings. My desk is on the top floor of a 6 story building, the other building is 13 floors. I was on the phone at my desk when it went through here. Yes, we felt it. It actually scared a lot of folks on my floor, if you can believe that (wimps). Wasn't much, just a rumble. But it definitely was felt here in some places. My wife didn't feel it at all. But she works in a single story building too though.

Anyway, this isn't my first either. I lived in Arkansas (Blytheville) for 3 "glorious" years (they SUCKED!). Felt small tremors there on occasion as it sits right on the New Madrid fault. THAT is a big one too. Estimates say it's 4-5 times bigger than the San Anreas fault line. When it goes again (it's WAY overdue), it will be massive. Plan on losing much of Memphis and St. Louis...

Thanks guys. Just curious if others felt it too.
