Cohutta Wilderness, GA - 2001

Taken a couple days after I got the Xterra in July 2001. I was exploring the forest ranger trails (4x2) in the Cohutta Wilderness. No mods, just out having fun.

Is it legal to drive on the forest ranger trails?

It's legal in Georgia. I've seen all kinds of cars on the main trails. Lexus, Taurus, horse and carriage, big ass redneck trucks...but not all trails are suitable for non-4x4 vehicles. They have a pretty extensive road system in the Cohutta Wilderness. Great access to trailheads if you like backpacking.
