Dorset, ON, Canada - May 28, 2005 - 30/05/05 05:59 AM

One of the guys had us up to his cottage for the weekend in Dorset. It was a great weekend and we got to wheel local trails there with a great variety of vehicles. The best part was that the trail head to a network of trails you could spend a weekend on is only like 700ft from the cottage.

We had a nice mix of vehicles including:

- Series III Land Rover
- Xterra with me riding shotgun (left my rig home due to front end probs again :-(
- Jeep YJ
- Pathfinder
- 8-wheel Argo (scouting rig :-)

It was a great muddy day of wheeling on Saturday seeing how each different vehicle performed. EVERY one of them got stuck MANY times and every single truck got a chance to pull every other truck out of stucks more than once. Even the Argo got stuck!

Some interesting stats:
-> time away from cottage 11:00am - 9:30pm
-> actual time stopped (as per gps) for recoveries = 5.5hrs (includes 10 minutes for lunch which the mosquitos enjoyed)
-> time to retrace the route completely in the Argo at the end = 45 minutes

From the desk of Laywer J.P. Browneye III

Dear SOXC,

Please note that the suffix "the Wonderdog" has been trademarked by Jens aka SuperJens and Anita aka Nina in regards to their dog Bandit the Wonderdog.

Use of this suffix will be allowed, of course, due the damn cuteness of your Wonderdog.

Regards,

Starfish Stinkhole Lawyers Inc.

Sweet X! These "no hoop" Shrockworks are giving me second thoughts, hoops or no hoops? Hmmmmm...
By the way, what happened to the other shackle?

Jens - LMAO - you are a nut! :-)

Dana - Yep, I'm not much a fan of the mud either, but it was a fun day none the less. Not sure what's up with the front end, I haven't checked it out yet, so I left the truck home just in case. I know my front swaybar endlinks are shot again as well as one of the bushings on the mount to the crossmember for it as well... How's your truck coming (front diff)?

BigE - the other shackle just got thrown on another truck during one of the seven thousand recoveries that day. :-D

MudX - the Pathy is a 99.5 For more info on it check out www.MuddyNissan.com
