All around favorite MN wheelin' shots

These are a bunch of my more-favorite wheeling photos I took from our "monthly" trips to the OHV park in Gilbert MN over the past year… you guys got to let me know what you think~

i love those view shots when you climb a hill like that and all you see is the horizon

Thanks for the feedback! It’s nice to hear what people think. As you can see in the pictures I put up so far, are not just Xterras (even though they are with EVERY trip we take) … I imagine that most of us out here are all about having fun also. It’s great to get all of your friends out on the trails, no matter what they drive…

Man I miss Roy's pit. Thats where I did this. I collapsed my nerf bars against the rockers (alah Xterra style).

Definately some GOOD pics! looks like you found the "real" rocks! we tend to stick more to the trails, atleast last year... Leaf lake loop is pretty fun!

Here are a few I found from last summer... (As you may notice... when I get a camera I don't stop taking pictures till the memory card is full (now that I have a 1G card photography has reached a whole new level!

Where is Roy's? It looks like a lot of fun.

This link might explain it a little. Roys was in Northfield - basically the closest wheeling to the cities next to Gilbert. It sounds like its permanently closed though. There is a new wheeling place in Hudson - Flatfender Farms - but you don't want to take an Xterra down there, or any other vehicle you care about. You're almost guaranteed body damage there.

Ted's Revenge is pretty nuts, that's for sure. This shot was on the way to Ted's - that damn iron ore is impossible to get off.

the first picture i posted and that last one I believe is on the Same trail? it connects to leaf lake loop right?

I was at Gilbert on the opening weekend. Helped with clearing trees and brush. Not to mention a bit of wheeling. It is a very cool place.

Ever been to Dresser Wisconsin? I'm considering taking a trip out there with MN Outback.... But I'm not sure how the trails are out there

My step dad is going to Dresser April 8th with what ever group he is in, to groom the trails. Is this the same group you were talking about? I might go with him but just as a passenger.

there will be some grooming to be done... members of MN Outback and other off road organizations would be getting "free wheeling" I guess if we work one of the days or something... i will have more info about when they are going... but the next meeting isn't untill April 12th.

Yep, that's the end of the deep mud. I've never gone that way, I always go to the right. Both times I have gone through Leaf Lake, someone in the group has lost a bead at the very end of that particular mudhole. Cool trail though.

yep, we went right on the trial... I'm not sure exactly where we ended up but i think there is another branch off leaf lake we ended up on that took us almost an extra hour to complete!

That was leaf lake loop, everyone (including myself) thought we were on berry trail
