That thing performed like a champ on the trail yesterday. I am extremely impressed. He gets just as much travel as I get in my Jeep. I would have kept my X if I had known this was coming out.

Awsome, Doug!!!!!
cool

Nice Pics Doug! Is that the final production unit? Are we looking at a release date as of yet?

On another note, did you get the overheating issue taken care of?

After seeing Doug's truck in action yesterday with Ian and the boys, I have two words: very impressive.

A clean, smartly designed and excellent performing SAS kit.

Well done, Steve and the guys at Calmini. This kit is going to change the way people look at the X's capability.

Throw in some better rear springs and revolver shackles to help match the front's travel and you'll have a beast.

So how much money are we going to have to spend on a kit like that. That thing totally kicks ass. What a beautiful site.

Re: Latest Calmini SAS photo - 15/10/04 03:33 PM

Under $10,000 wink

Seriously, the price hasn't been announced yet, people have been asking since about the second reply to the first post about it...

Rule of thumb"

If you have to ask how much it will be you probably wont be able to "smartly" afford it.

Re: Latest Calmini SAS photo - 16/10/04 08:26 PM

Wow those are great shots.

If you need to ask $$ you are curious as everyone else, but it sounds like the kit is just a portion of what is needed. Axle Springs etc...

If you really want it just start saving.
