That pic behind the brush is funny...I can hear the crocodile hunter or marty staufer speaking over the picture...

"Here we see a wild green Xterra making it's way through the snowy country..."

Ok now that I have had some sleep it was a 18 hour drive and I had to be back here by 7am. Basically I went to escape the North Dakota flatness. It really tends to get to me as I've spent the majority of my life in the west. Something about being able to drive hundreds of miles and not seeing and changes is just disturbing.

The Ram believe it or not was just sitting next to the road along with his harem when I drove by. Turned around and pulled up next to him. By next to him I mean about 30 feet with a guard rail between him and me. That was on Highway 14 about 15 miles or so from the east entrance of Yellowstone park.

I went there with my dad when I was 12 on a summer vacation through the southwest. We did the tram to the top of the ski resort and rafted the Snake river. Incredible place. I've got a picture of that elk's great (x20) grandfather standing in the river as we rafted by.

Nice pictures, thanks.

I went there a couple of summers ago, and I remember those antler arches. pretty cool pics. What's that white stuff called again? I know I've seen it before, but it's been so long. Oh, wait, I know, that's snow!

Man, those are some kick ass pics from a great trip I bet!! I was wondering how that 4x2 did in the snow? When I lived in Charlotte, it always did pretty well in the snow. Breaking was a pain in the ass, but that's how it is in any vehicle, regardless of transfer case or not. Great pics anyhow. You make us all envious!!
