Cant seem to post a profile pic

Why is it, I can post pics on a topic all day long, but when I try to post one on my profile page it doesnt work.
I dont know what I doing wrong
I copy the link and paste it just like allways but it dont work
Someone please enlighten me

Leave the image (ie."[img][/img]") tags out and just put the straight URL link in instead like:

http://img404.imageshack.us/img404/5237/bl1bi7.jpg
