Another Tire Inquiry

Are the BFG MT's worth getting if I do most of my driving on the highway?
I like the way they look, and I like what they may do for me on the trail, but are they worth getting?
How are they in the rain? I hear MT's from any tire maker are not that good in the rain.
I am deciding between BFG 32" AT's or BFG 32" MT's.
For those of you out there with these types and sizes, which would be the better choice?

Go with the ATs, especially where you are, there's just not enough 'wheeling close enough to justify MTs as daily-drivers.

Yeah, go with the ATs they are fine for Va Beach and work fantastic in the sand in Hatteras as well.

Edit: I had 32 BFG AT's on my Cruiser and never had a single let down.
