I know of the history but these look really promising. Surely Firestone is acting right being under the microscope. 265/75/16 for $129

There's nothing wrong with Firestone tires, just with people who run them underinflated.

That looks like a nice agressive tire for off-road. Nice side lugs similar to the BFG Mud Terrain.

And they've got a great warranty.

Last weekend Firestone had a "buy 3 get 1 free" sale. Next time I'll buy them and put 'em in the garage if I dont need them yet.

Sure, I would - if you're not worried about gas mileage. I thought of those, but didn't think they'd handle as well as the Revo's in snow/rain. Haven't experienced snow/rain just yet with new X, but threw on LT265/75 16 Revo's.

You could also get a set for off-road, set for highway use instead of an AT tire. This is what I'll eventually end up doing, however both SUV's got new tires this month.

Here is the buy 3 get 1 free deal.

The Firestone shop had them for $157ea. You pay for 3 and get the 4th free; but you also have to buy the road hazzard warranty @ $20 a tire.

Not such a good deal.
