A letter I received from my dealer shortly after buying my "X" suggested that the tires on 4 by 4's should be rotated every 3 months.
Has anyone else gotten this recommendation? Is it really necessary?

It's mileage, not time, that determines rotation. Nissan says they should be rotated every 7500 miles. My road hazard coverage requires I have them rotated every 5000.

I rotate about every third oil change....which is about every 9k miles and about twice a year....I would go by the miles you drive and not by months. I think you are suppossed to do it every 7K.

I rotate mine by blowing 1 tire every Xcursion- not the most economical way, but that's what I'm up against!
