04 SE wheel size

The 04 SE's 4x4 (non SC) come stock with 17" wheels. However on every tire website I have been to they pull up 16" rubber as the "matching" size when you enter in the make, model, year, yada yada. Anyone run into problems becuase of this?

Just look it up by the tire size, not vehical make, and it avoids the entire problem.

They only recommend stock diameters anyway on those references...so they are pretty useless unless you just want the same sized tire...in which case, you just enter that sized tire, etc.

I just checked www.tirerack.com and it came up with the correct size 265/65-17. What sites were you checking on?

There's only one 17 inch rim for the Xterra, its the SC wheel that comes with a 265/65/17 tire. The current 16 inch rim is the 02-03 SE wheel w/o the charcoal finish. Apparently they are putting the 17" SC wheels on the 04' SE non-SC like yours though?

Yup, the 04 SE has the same wheels for both supercharged and non-supercharged versions.
