Tire Fitment Question - 07/08/03 04:43 AM

i've got a 2002 xterra se-s/c. keeping my stock 17x8 wheels, i want to replace the stock 265/65-r17 tires with bridgestone a/t revo 265/70-r17 tires. with this 1" bigger diameter, will there be any rubbing or other fitment issues? thanks!

You're hardly the first to think of this, try looking through the old posts next time.

They're 32x10.50 equivalent, and like every other 2002+ they'll fit pretty comfortably, perhaps a little nibbling of some plastic will be needed.

I have 265x70x17 Goodyear MT/R's. They are roughly a 31.8"x10.7"x17" tire. No rubbing at all around town (not sure about offroad flexing yet). I also removed my mudflaps, which seemed to give me more clearance. Hope this helps....
