Thinking about replacing the worn stock 265/75-16's with a set of 245/75-16's.
I run that size on my truck, and would like to use the same snow chains on the Xterra. And with the stock front tires I don't even know if the chains would clear.
Obviously it won't look as nice, and the speedo might be off slightly, not that any factory speedo is correct.
Will they work fine on the stock wheels?
I do use chains a good bit in winter, lots of downhill ice. Plus the narrower tread would be better in snow, and cheaper.
Any thoughts?
