New head unit make? I just finished changing mmy speakers to polk. I have a head unit on back order and was wondering if anyone changed their system in stages so I know the exact differece w/the sound from the stock unit. If you did change it please let me know which one you went with. Thanks

I first replaced the rear speakers with some new Sony 6x9's and that made a little difference. I then replaced the head unit with a Sony CD receiver and that mad a big difference. The sound is more crisp and louder. I definately don't have to crank it as loud to hear now. If you are going for better sound definately replace the head unit.
