'03 Rockford Fosgate FM Reception

Here comes my first post as an Xterra owner......
I have searched high and low on this site looking for an answer to the FM reception problem on my new X. I love the 6 disc in dash.... has anyone found a solution to this problem other than 1)tightening the antenna mast (check) 2)getting XM or SIRIUS (nah) 3)new HU (no way!)
Are signal boosters the way to go (pepboys has one for a modest price) or do they even make a difference?

Make sure your antenna is tight like you said. Mine rattles loose every couple days. BTW I don't have reception issues in my 02' and for damn sure don't waste your money on a booster from Pep Boys, they suck.
