After all the questions... its done.... - 30/07/01 12:15 PM

Finally!
I got it all put in about a week ago and so far I love it. I ended up getting Infinity 3way 6X9's, Infinity 605cs', an Infinity Basslink, and an Alpine CDA 7875 headunit.

The sound is awesome and the basslink is amazing for the size. I can still easily use the internal bike rack with both bikes on there. The only thing so far is just getting it tuning just right. The headunit has so many friggin options and settings it's crazy.
I'd say the speakers are pretty much the same as the other companies that people have been installing, but if you looking at a new system, try the alpine deck and the basslink. Both are awesome components....

anmd thanks for everyone help with all my questions when I was deciding what to get.

Where did you mount the basslink? If you have them, some pictures would be helpful.

Thanks.

Sorry I don't have any pictures. But its mounted on the drivers side right behind the rear seats. And the speakers are pointing right and left, not front and back. So far I think it sounds great. But I haven't heard one anywhere else so I don't have anything to compare it with.

Thats the same system I have going in. Except I went with the 7873 head unit, and the rears are some JBL's I had lying around.
As for the Basslink, right now I just have mine strapped in because I haven't figured out where it will sound best and be out of the way. Even running off the stock head unit and strapped in, it adds great fill down low.

So, did you drill the floor in the rear to mount your basslink, or are you using wood, or what?

I drilled it in. I wanted it to sit low enough that I could still put the cargo cover thing back there. And its right under where it plugs into on the wall, so I couldn't use wood.
Yeah the only reason I went for the 7875 was because it was on sale for the same price as the 73.
