Is it possible connect an ipod (or any audio device) to a 2002 Xterra SE with the Rockford Fosgate stereo system through something like an aux in? i don't want to get anything FM modulator related. Just want an aux in. I bought >>>>some 1 x Altima & Xterra Auxiliary Input Plug (NI-MP-AUXINPT-ALXT) = $35.00
1/8" stereo to male RCAs adapter No<<<< but that only works with the standard head unit cause the standard HU has a 8 pin input for a CD player. If anyone knows of a product or some crazy mod let me know.

I do not know your answer, but my guess is that if you use the handy dandy search tool, you might get a bunch of information concerning the entire iPop hook-it-up question.

Absolutely correct, it's been covered to death

Chef is right, this has been covered to DEATH! But to be a nice guy, I'll give you a quick answer. Search if you want details. The answer, unfortunately, is a resounding NO. I've got an '03 SE with the RF HU, just like yours and it does NOT have an AUX IN. The only way to get one with the HU we have is to replace the HU. Short of that, the only other option we have is an FM modulator, which works reasonably well depending on which one you get.

Sorry for the bad news, but to quote, "Just the facts, ma'am!"
