Why do you think you need to replace it, may I ask? If it is because it only works on high, you don't need to replace the switch, but rather the resistor pack that controls it. It's a common issue and well documented. It's also a simple fix and can be done by anyone with a minimum of mechanical skills. Is this your problem?

Does this resistor replacement apply if setting 3 does not work?
1, 2 and 4 are ok.

Yes the resistor pack is the first thing to check. It's an easy fix I've done it once. Right now my 2 setting doesn't work and I'm waiting for more to go before I replace it again. The resistor pack is just that, four resistors, one for each setting on a small plug-in circuit board. For what ever reason, electrical or mechanical, one by one each resistor pooches out.

Can anyone tell me where the resistor pack is located? I have an 05 and setting 1 and 2 don't work.
also any ideas why I get minimal heat under 30-40 mph?
Thanks!
