Powered rear view mirror out

At the end of last summer, my powered rear view functions all of a sudden stopped working. Parked in Philadelphia, and then when I started it back up, no temp read or compass functions worked. Also, there is no way to dim the mirror at night. I checked the fuse and it seemed to be okay ( i believe its on a 10A). Oh, btw I've got a 2003 XE. Anyone have any quick fixes or suggestions for me w/o buying an entirely new rear view mirror?

I have ran into the same issue and I am currently looking into it as well. I have heard and read it isn't the mirror but a wire under the dash. Though I haven't put the effort into finding the problem as of yet. It is on my list of things to do. I also have a 2003.

Did you find anything? Got this problem in 2013, it is now the end of 2015. Mirror is still out

Okay, So I may have found the issue. Although, I will need a wiring diagram or someones help. I'll have to take a picture tonight but it looks like a wire got disconnected. There was a tapped wire coming out of the fuse box (a 7.5A) fuse that has black and white wire with a stripped end attached to absolutely nothing. Can anyone tell me where this wire goes?! or send a picture?
