Add door courtesy lights?

I'd like to add some led lights to the bottom of the doors to light when they are opened. Is there any way other than wiring them to the dome lights?

Thought about doing thus myself a time or two. Could use the push bottom in the door jam. I have a switch wired to mine to disable the beeps when my key is in and door open.

It occurred to me that the wiring for the interior lights must go through the fusebox, so could I piggyback from that somehow?
