Does anybody know if our OEM 00-04 step bars will fit an 2003 frontier king cab?

They should. I doubt Nissan was fool enough to design two different designs...that would have been a total waste.

manufacturers do stupid shit all the time.

im not sure whether or not they are the same. i think that they are not, but i could be wrong

My guess would be that the bolt pattern is probably the same, but that the length of the rail is wrong. Check the wheelbase on the King Cab vs. the Xterra. If it is the same then they may work.
