Trying to add a temperature/compass near dome light on my 2004 xterra. Nissan told me can't be done since factory didn't do it. can anyone help me with a solution?????

I added one of these to my headliner in front of the map lights

I know others have added the mirror version available at xterraparts or JC Whitney
