It has only been 2 weeks since I bought my last mod, a steelhorse console (Damn you Xcanuk!!) and its not even installed yet. I promised myself that I wouldnt buy anything else for the X over $30. I ordered it. Was 199.99+14.99s/h and about $12 tax. According to their site regular s/h is 5-7 days (not bad!!!)

Galls is usually must faster than that. When I order online I usually get my stuff within two days if I order before 5PM

Any of the PoPo on here can tell you that Galls is fast, reliable, and customer service friendly. They only deal new stuff and if it's not right, they take care of you. On alot of their stuff they are pricey.

It comes with the mounts. I bought one at REI for $224 last week. You will have to mount the mounts opposite of what the picture shows in order for the rack to sit right on the crossbars. Go to the pictures thread and see my "New Loadwarrior" pics.

Yeah, saw your pictures, looks good. Just wondered if you had to specify that it was for an Xterra or anything. That's awesome... I'm pumped!! Thanks. They came in the same box. I would like to get 2 more crossbars for my kayak rack. I don't want to have to take the Loadwarrior off because it is measured fairly well and tightened down well.

Same here. Having ordered from Galls in the past, I've noticed they will do that with some items. If you are a new customer, they are probably verifying your information. Give'em a call if you have any doubts, I've always had a great experience with their customer service.

I talked to a lady that works there and she said they were in stock and ready to be shipped....yesterday...so good luck with yours I'll post when I get mine. They are coming from Lexington Ky. Mine only has to go about 450 miles or something close.

Damn... that's a good price. I got mine from FogDog and spent $250 plus s/h a couple of years ago.

Called again today... I ordered it last Tuesday night pretty late, so I will say I ordered it Wednesday. Lady said that it said it was still there and said something about shipping being delayed due to holidays or something... but, Monday was a holiday... not any days last week... Still says it's in the warehouse, still says it's processing... I just want to know when it will ship, I'm not trying to say that it should be here.. But I'm getting frusterated that it's not shipped or processed or anything...

I feel your pain, I'm in the same situation. I ordered one at the same time you did and was just told the same information. I have ordered a lot of duty gear and LE related items from Galls in the past without problem. This is the first time they have not had an order out in record time. I'm going to give them till tomorrow and call and take this to a higher level.

They didn't mention anything to me about it being on clearance. When I asked, the cust. service rep told me they had them in stock, but were slow to process because of memorial day. When I go to the site and add one to the cart like I'm a new customer, it still shows they are in stock.

OK, just got off the phone with Galls. Was on hold on and off for about 15 minutes. What they found was that somehow when they were printing out the shipping information there was glich, then when they tried to reprint it later the part number didn't get printed. So, apparently during the time when I was on the phone with them they were checking and finally got things straightend out. I can't say that I am the happiest customer as this was the 3rd time I had to call them to check on it, but they did refund my $16 shipping charge, so that made me happier. They said it should ship out tomorrow.

I told her that the status page told me that if it would be cancelled if OS and all she said was something about that she had just talked to the warehouse and they said they were in stock and that it should ship out tonight... we'll see...

Poorboy - Don't feel bad, I've been round and round with them all day. Finally I got to a supervisor and they gave me free next day air. I called them three additional times checking on it and just recently I checked my status and I have a tracking number and the status is "Shipped Complete." Hopefully it will be here Friday.

Really?? Crap, that's what I was hoping they'd offer is the next day air... but they just gave me my shipping charges back... Oh well, as long as I get it. Would like it by this weekend, but doubt that'll happen... :rolleyes:

I just did some measurements...

I just got the loadwarrior and it's 44"H x 39"W x 6-1/2"D. It's a little shorter from front to back than I wanted so I might get the extension. But it fits nicely side to side on top of the X factory rack.

The Mega Warrior is 52"H x 48"W x 6-1/2"D and is just about the right front to back length but from side to side it would stick out just a bit on the X. The rooftop of the X is 46" and would stick out about 3 inches on either side of the factory roof rack.

Got mine bent with paint chipped. The two parts do not even slide in together.
Spoke with Galls. They are out of stock. They said something about trying to order one from the vendor for me.

Can you take a shot from the front? My Loadwarrior is on it's way, but if it's damaged and they can't get another then I'll just tell them to send me a megawarrior if it looks alright.

I'm just not sure,anybody wanna trade a regular loadwarrior,for my mega?? I am so torn,keep it or trade,or return??

I got my Load Warrior on Friday, next day just like they promised. It came in excellent condition and everything was in order. I put it on about 4 hours ago and the installation was easy and painless. (Wow, that's a change! ) So I'm very happy overall and can't wait for an excuse to use it!

I really wished I had pushed for next day air... I have to wait till Wednesday for their stupid screw ups... :rolleyes:

Well, I fat fingerd the wrong zip code and caused the credit card to not authorize. Straightened it out on Friday, they shipped the same day and with regular UPS should be here Tuesday. Can't ask for much more than that....

Galls is showing the Loadwarrior to be discontinued and the Mega, although a great deal, seems to be a bit too wide. I'm envious of the deals you guys got at Galls up to now. The best deal I could find on the Loadwarrior after a Google search was for $252 at ORS Racks Direct (with free shipping). Anyone have any experience with this company? I'm driving from Pittsburgh to Nova Scotia on vacation in a couple weeks and have a butt-load of stuff to take with me ("kids, you can't live with them, can't stuff them in a sack") . I need a good basket.

JDF, thanks (via PoorBoy) for the photos. Your X doesn't look bad at all with the larger model. Now I'm all conflicted - what to do? All else being equal I think I'd prefer the trimmer size, but the mega isn't a bad fit and the $70 savings gets me a basket net and a tank of gas for my trip. I may have to call in my wife to cast the deciding vote. Since this is our only ride I do have to somewhat take the SAF (spouse approval factor) into account.
