Great Plains is gone, Midwest is AWOL, MidAtlantic, Gulf Coast and Heartland's last post was July, KYFXC is no longer a club, WHAT IS HAPPENING!

it seems most are going into early hibernation

and since winter is almost here journeys are still to come for this Xer. Winter camping, ski/snow board trips.

So if anyone is interested maybe something can get planned. Heck maybe we can storm a ski resort with a few fellow X's and have a fun day in the snow!

Yes, It is sad that many clubs have gone or broken away. Maybe the clubs that are gone, they leased their X! I guess all we can do is keep our club going!
Close sounds good, but your going to have to teach this Florida Boy to snowboard. Also be good at first aid!

Well seeing as the Midwest club never really got off the ground and not too many people even post in this forum very often, it not to surprising that it would seem like this is all fizzling out. It maybe that there will never be enough interest in certain geographical regions to maintain an active club, especially for off roading.

Oh yea speaking of off roading, I ordered my ShrockWorks front bumper last week. Jim said it'll be about 4 weeks before I get it, I can't wait. I should also be getting my bilsteins installed this coming weekend!

Gator- I will do what I can...My girlfriend might be a lil better suited for that though. She was a snowboard instructor at a local ski area for 2 yrs and she is always willing to help new people learn and enjoy the sport.

So whens the ski trip happening? My wife and I have talked about going for 5 years and still haven't gone. I think it might be time! Well if we can find the time.... Damn holiday season

One will definitely have to be planned. EAP have you or your wife been to Indian Head? It would be quite the haul and would need to make a weekend out of it. But as long as there is a hot tub to relax the body ...I am game.

Other than that There are a couple area resorts but nothing too great.

I am happy to say it sounds like sunburst :rolleyes: might be open this weekend in Kewauskum(west bend)

Sunburst is cool, went tubing with the kids there. I took out 5 kids at the end of the run, and made it to the parking lot!

I think Indian Head is too far for us to do in a weekend unless we took time off from work which we can't do. We'd probably not be able to go anywhere farther than the one near Madison or Alpine Valley. I know they aren't the best but it's about all we could swing...

We alsways go to Marquette, MI. Indian head hasnt had much snow in the past few years. cascade does they claim to have runs open already.

Maximus- we should see if we can get a break from shrock! I am also looking to get sliders from them.
