Vehicles can be replaced, people can't. Glad to hear your son is okay.

Glad your son is ok. I did somewhat the same in my younger years. I bet he had the shakes after that. Sorry about your truck Lulu.

Hey Chris, Glad to hear he is ok .... Sorry about the truck. I was coming back to MN from Chicago about a week and a half ago and hit a couple of icy roads then... Man I hate winter:(

Thanks everyone. He is the most important thing in my life. The truck doesn't bother me, we have insurance, stupid deductables. The truck actually held up really well and saved his hide. he thught it was upside down but there was not damage to the rack, so I think it was just on the passenger side sliding. Stupid exspensive tires. blew three. here are the shots so far.

They had just goitten a blizzard the day before and were just cleaning up out of it whne he was on his way.

Can't even see the two story bank in the background!

Considing what happened it doesn't look too bad from the pics. I think any tire would blow hitting the curb sideways. When you get it fixed you may want to find out if any oil got into the intake manifold. From looks of it I owe another light bar. smile

Take Care, Dan

yeah they will be checking the intake. if that did not happen then should be minor. but we will see.

WOW that was fast, what a great Insurance company, YUK YUK, I wouldn't have any other, wink , neither should you. The adjuster looked at it already. Even with the weekend and the holiday AND the fact that it is in Irwood, MI. The Rammey Auto body shop came in with $3700.00 ish and the adjuster came in with $3650.00 ish. Very close. They will get the business too which is nice considering all they did. They weren't even working that day but still took the call and helped out my son. I was afraid the adjuster would send it south to Wausau, but he didn't. Rammey is giving me a deal on the tires at $145.00 too. I paid $175.00 in Madison. They will replace all the molding, wind blocks, pull the dents, replace the quarter panel, align it, replace the bumper, towing, dinner for my son on them the night it happened about $50.00 for the two of them. Tune it, then check for further damage if any. Looks like so far no oil in the manifold. If you are from the UP or just visiting there, visit Rammey Auto Body just off Hwy2. Nicest bunch of guys around. [Wave] hope to see LuLu Bell soon! Now what foul chore will the boy behave bestowed upon him, [Uh Oh !] mmwuuahahah, mmmmmmmmmwuuuuwahwahwah [Spit]

[Spit] for what everyone says about the steprails I have gone over trees, stumps, rocks, mud holes, and now a crash and never bent them in half. Maybe it says something about the ability of the driver! :p

still dont have LuLu Bell back yet. She got a whole new paint job, new tires, new bumper new pass. side front door, new molding and they are waiting for weather stripping from some Green Bay jerk off dealer that has taken over two weeks to get three parts, putz, I get mine from my dealer in 3-5 days. anyway she should look brand new when I get her.
