Ducky looks a little pigeon-toed, well look at it this way, now you have an excuse to get a SS and some 33's on her. wink

Haspins looks like a blast, too bad I couldn't join the fun. Great pics. when's the next run?...

I would get some skinner rims for the X. That way more of the rubber will take the side beating on rocks and not rub your rims. Are you considering the Calmini steering system? This is a must with that kind of lift and tire usage.

I like the black exploder pics smile What kind of drivetrain is that? D44's? what R&P? tire size?

Great pics!

Too bad bout the early exit with the "minor" breakage!

btw-I got too also say that the Exploder is one nice ride!!! very sharp! What does he have upfront? I saw he's got lock outs, (WARN?), so he must be locked up in the front? Please do tell......

Merrry Christmas!

Happy Holidays!

As for the Ducky, I'll let trials chime in on that whenever he logs on.... but the purpose of those wheels was to widen the stance and not worry too much about for as cheap as they are as far as I know.... And I know he is considering the calmini setup (unless I can talk him into an SAS and some 35s smile )

As for my sploder, Dana 44 up front Ford 8.8 in the rear, 35" Xterrains, Locked front and rear, 4.88s gears, and yes warn premium hubs. Glad you guys like it I am very happy with it so far, got a lot of time in it getting it that way.

TrialsX here, up in the land of cheese, beer, and people doing anything they can on frozen lakes.

Anyways, yes, the ducky now sports 3" susp and 3" body lifts, as well as much deeper offset rims. Still the same 33 BFG MTs, but opened up to a 10" wide rim. Yes, there is just too much grip/torque now to keep the factory tierod setup. There was no big event that toasted that tierod. In fact, that is what concerned me so much. It was a pretty small climb. So yes, maybe early spring, hopefully, Ducky will sport the calmini steering package. I was just happy that we were able to get her back to the parking lot and on the trailer for a nice easy ride home. :-)

The run was good, even tho it was all frozen ground, which tends to beat the snot out of the driver and passengers. Oh well. Calmini steering due in the semi near future....
