Re: September meeting at Conundrum's House - 23/08/07 08:56 PM

You do tie rod ends! Hmmmmmmmm. Ever done one on a 4Runner? I'd imagine they were all very similar. DO you need a special tool to separate the joint? Might need your mechanical knowledge on the 4Runner as I managed to screw up a tie rod end while trying to get clearance to change out the half shafts.

Will involve cash if interested! smile When the weather cools off a little.

Cash, Hell that's almost as good as beer! I'd help you get them off to replace them if you want, but do you feel you can make it all the way out here with that rig yet?

Well one of the axles is totally disconnected both ends, only thing I can't do is get the damn thing out because there isn't enough clearance. Plus the Tie rod on that side is hosed, so it ain't goin anywhere.

This isn't something that needs to be done real soon. Not like she's my daily driver.[/b]
Are you trying to make it 2wd? I assume you have the axles out of the Diff and can't get them out of the Hubs?

Start a new thread and post a pic so I can figure out what cha talk'n about willis! wink

Finally took the time to update the Website. cool

Oh and ya, mysteriously the Gallery started working all by itself after about a year and a half or more, so If you want a login (everyone that had one before is still active), just email/PM, etc. and I'll set you up. I found out about a week ago when I was just looking at other links when XOC had gone down temporarily. confused

Unfortunately, Bren and I will pretty much be ghosts from any and all events for a while. HUGE changes the last month.
the morning we left to meet y'all for Fat Tire, Bren's job was......eliminated. So when we got back, we decided she could do it without the architect she was with, and we started our own company with two of the guys she had been working with:
IndigoFox

Meanwhile, I have been an overtime whore on the Ambulance to keep the bills paid til the biz makes some $$.
Add to that the fact I start the Fire Academy with City of Surprise in October, and I have zero free time for a while.

Awesome news on the creation of your own company. If you need any help - Web Design, Internet Marketing - anything web related. Let me know.

Hope to have my own start up off the ground this time next year, making some good money right now, but not quite enough to quit the day job yet.

Thanks Georgie, I was going to get some tonight, so now I don't have too.

Everyone.
I'm going to have a cooler full of ice, so you don't need to have to bring one, just the can's bottles, etc.

I don't have enough chairs to go around, I didn't think about it until last night. You may want to bring a seat for your butt. I'm going to try and borrow some from our Cafe at work, but it'll be last minute. [drink]
