'04 Shackles and Front Disconnects

I would like to pick up (or build) some disconnects and shackles for my '04 Xterra today or tomorrow. Anyone know of somewhere that I can get some?

Yes, the Calmini shackles are the ones I want, but I can't find anyplace local that stocks them. Is there a Nissan friendly 4x4 shop somewhere in the valley? Seems like if I want a jeep part, they are in stock EVERYWHERE. . .

As for the disconnects, people told me you could make them yourself quite easily. Anyone have a guide or pdf file or something to point me to?

Most of the the folks have bought them second hand or from xterraparts.com in our link section. They're in the offroad link. And it's about a 30min job to swap them out.

And no, there aren't really any Nissan friendly shops....they all turn up their noses at Nissans for the most part because they're not Jeeps.

I have a set of Calmini discos I'm no longer using if you're interested. I picked them up from Grn-X so it'd be only fitting to send them home to AZ.

You can have them for what I paid for them, which I think was like $35 + shipping? I made new bail pins and replaced all of the washers and nylock nuts with stainless ones. They work fine, I just took my sway bar off completely so I don't need them anymore.

Bobby, if the disco's you are talking about are for the front, then I am interested. If they are for the back, I just plan on removing the rear sway bar entirely for 4wd runs, so I wouldn't need those.

Yeah, they're for the rear. Oh well.

I know there's a link around here somewhere w/pics for making the front discos. I just don't remember what category it's in. I think the crux of it, though, was just using a big wingnut instead of a locknut on the end links so it could be disconnected.
