Took it in today for an oil change and talked with the service manager for a while. They're pretty cool about mods, etc. Didn't seem to bother him that I had modified the truck while it's still under warranty.

We were talking about off roading and he was a little in shock that I take it actually off-road. I guess most of the folks that go in there don't do that with theirs. Pretty cool group of folks. If anyone travels through KY and need some service/maintenance, check them out.

Cheers.

I got my 2001 X from Byerly Nissan in Louisville. Very friendly folks and I got a really good deal on my X from them. I actually still have their license plate frame on my X... smile

Hehe, those pics were taken the day I got the X. Yeah, I'm a Louisville native and UK grad. Serving my time in graduate school down in the Lone Star State for the time being, but I come back to God's country every now n then.

Well hell, next time you're up drop me a line. We'll go grab a few drinks. I'm in the Highlands... Plenty of places every 5 steps to get either food, drink or coffee around this part of town these days. Not to mention one of the Xterra Triathalon's will be in Kentucky this year, 8/25/02 for competition. smile

Good luck with grad. school!! Xterra Planet 2002 Schedule

The Highlands? Hell, I went to Highland middle school. My parents live near Bashford Manor Mall. Small world. laugh

Next time I'm up, I will try to give ya a holler!

Well, I had my first actual service work done there. They replaced my defective hub that was the cause of my shifting and 4x problems. They fixed it quick! They had it ready on Monday and when I called to see how long they were open, the person answering said the service dept. was open until 8:30pm. Welllll, when I got there, they actually closed at 5:30pm. No worries though. One of the folks from the sales side helped me and I was out of there at 7pm in 10 minutes or less..

Kudos to those guys.

Just wanted to follow-up with another good note in their direction.
