Imogene Pass Run - 11/08/01 07:34 AM

The Imogene Pass Run, a 17.1 mile test of human endurance, will be held Saturday September 8th. It is a run from Ouray to Telluride over Imogene Pass. For an interesting description of the course (most of which we'll be driving during GOX) and a brief history of the trail (including weather conditons encountered during past races) go to http://www.csbservices.com/ipr/IPRCourse.htm

That looks like a blast. Well, uh, you know what I mean...

Not this year though. While I consider myself to be in pretty good shape, I have neither the mental nor physical edge for such an endurance event.

13,000 feet - Ouch! I have a hard time walking at that elevation.

Maybe next year....

You'll be tired after driving it.
