Weather update...

It snowed today in Telluride, so make sure you bring cold weather clothing as well as warm weather clothing.

Temperatures should be 60-70 for the week of GOX during the day, but will dip as low as freezing at night. Expect thunderstorms late each day. At high altitude, the rain can easily become sleet or snow.

We had an interesting day in the Denver area today as 2 tornadoes touched down within 5 miles of my house.

Snow/Sleet would be about right. All three years I have been to GOX is has done that at least once at some point.

Cold weather clothing? What the hell is that? I just spent the last four years in Hawaii and Southern California. I am screwed! I'll be the guy in all the camo. Only cool weather stuff I have is Army stuff. Maybe I can find an old sweater from the 80s from when I lived in Washington.

for us in the heat we are looking forward to much cooler weather - saw some of the news info on the tornadoes - glad all is ok your way

Damn and all I packed is shorts!!! DOH! I guess I gotta go home and repack now:)
