Hey, are you guys the closest group to NYC? [Wave] I am a member of SXFC but am moving to Long Island in March 2004 and was looking to see if anyone from that area was having fun with their X. [Smoking]

Hey count me in. I live in Queens, New York. I tired of pounding the pavement. I need to see dirt, not traffic lights. smile

Steiny,

How did you ever make out with your torsion bar anchor from last summer?
Any more problems from it?

You bet...I'll be in NY beginning of March. Trying to find sweaters but nobody has heard of them down here never mind actually selling them!! [Freak]

Re: NYC - 07/02/04 02:13 PM

why would you need a sweater in march??? Jeans and a t shirt should be fine. It'll be like 40 degrees in march thats beach weather right there

Hi, just joined the club here, and am ready to take my baby off road. Grew up upstate and I'm tired of the Brooklyn Traffic. I need to get a little dirty.

Ours is not to question why. Ours it but to do or die.

Re: NYC - 25/03/04 06:47 AM

Hey, I'm originally from upstate but, stationed at Ft. Hamilton in Brooklyn now. I get pretty busy, but I'm looking forward to getting on some trails for the first time with my X. I should be back in state sometime in the middle of April.

By the way, do you guys mostly ride out on saturday or sunday? I work 6 days a week, so...

Well, look forward to meeting all of you soon.

Re: NYC - 25/03/04 07:50 AM

Most of the time it's on Saturdays.

We recently had a Sunday run to accomidate the Jewish member(s).

It's not set on Saturdays, it just ends up what people vote for in the polls. Make an account on NJAX.org to vote.
