Lake Superior Bound - Woohoo!!

Well, we're off on Saturday for a trip up to the cabin for a week of fishing, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, golfing, shopping & eating (alot of fish hopefully)!

We'll stop in Duluth on the way up to 'yak around the harbor and stop by the Duluth Pack store, then it's off to Lutsen for the week.

We're also stopping on our way home next weekend up near the Boundary Waters to camp and fish. We'll have a whole island to ourselves!!

Is there any better way to spend a week?

Sounds great. I'll be doing a similar vacation in two weeks in that same general area. We have a cabin on Spider Lake in the Hayward Wisconsin area (about 1 hour SE of Duluth). Great Musky and Walley fishing. Even better is all the logging and snow mobile trails to try out the new X on. I used to have a 4X4 Pathfinder that worked well but looking for better things out of the X. Anyone have any expeience 4-wheeling over lots of loose trees and logs?
