Red River, NM

I am heading up to Red River, NM in the next couple of weeks to get some R & R. Does anyone have suggestions for trails to take while I am up there? Keep in mind I am a novice offroader. In fact, this will be the first time offroad in the X. I appreciate any comments.

Get thee to Bull 'o' the Woods meadow.

I took my old 4wd suburban helfway up, but the pig was too long to thread through the trees, so I had to back down.
