Make sure you go to Jack Daniels Distillery if you are in Lynchburg!

The Smoky's are great, but I would avoid Cades Coves on a weekend, unless you like breathing exhaust for and hour or four. mad If you like to eat, try 'The Burning Bush' huge breakfast. Its on your right just before you enter the park in Gatlinburg. Also try Charlie Peppers in Knoxville, excellent Tex-Mex and bar [Freak] . To get away from traffic, try the foothills pkwy down to Look Rock. Hope this helps.

Have fun, wish I was going. laugh

Scenic Drives

Gatlinburg on the weekend is crowded after Memorial Day. Find a parking spot and walk. It's still busy now but worse later.
We just got back last week, form hiking up to Mt LeCount.

Pigeon Forge is more driving but many Outlet malls and go-cart rides. There is tons more but it's all on the web.

The scenic drives are really beautiful if you don't mind windy roads.
