Where to go in Rochester, NY?

Looking for some suggestions on where to do some trail driving in or around Rochester, NY. Also would be interested in finding some sort of public off-road database on the 'net. I'm not looking for real 'hardcore' off-road... just lite, novice, don't kill the paint type stuff.

Check out various USGS quads of the areas around Canandaigua and Keuka Lakes, particularly in the Steuben County area or the Bristol Hills. DeLorme maps are OK but not as detailed. I grew up in this area and you should be able to locate lots of beautiful places with primitive roads, but not metal-crunching terrain. I would suggest looking at the High Tor area around Naples.

I'm originally from Canisteo, there are a ton of seasonal use roads in that part Stueben county too. All legal and just rutted up enough to have a blast without trashing your ride.
