ALF Enterprises & 4x4 Connection - 02/06/03 10:22 AM

Just wanted to relay the positive expierence I had with these 2 vendors. I ordered the CB fold over from ALF and the ARB Bracket from 4x4. Bother were ordered on wednesday last week. Alf got here friday, 4x4 today. Great service, good people, and 4x4 tossed in a free decal with the shipment. Nice unexpected treat. I would highly recommend both of these companies to anyone.

Did you get the ez-over/spring combo? I've broken two of those so far and know of one other person whos broke after an hour of use on the trail. frown

Yes thats what I got. I had read some people had had some issues with it. But I thought I would give it a shot. Im wondering at what angle people have been keeping there antennas, have they been straight up, or maybe at an angle.

I have the ez over - on the front bumper. When I'm not using it, it folds over the bumper (parallel with the windshield). Haven't had any issues with it (also using a Wilson flexible antenna - it's VERY flexible, so I don't think I need to worry about anything breaking).

(Oh, and I don't have any spring mounted)

Yeah you just can't beat the good folks in the Winchester VA area. Some of the best people I know live in that area.

Sucks for me, though. They used to be literally 5 minutes from my house. Now it's an hour's drive. I hope they are doing well out there.

Alf is very good! Our club buys all their CB stuff from them. Here is my tipover for my ARB.
