I just sent them another email--called last time--bugging them to do so as there are likely more previus generation Xterras and Frontys being modded at this point than the current generation...and I would encourage all of you to drop them a line as well....

Great news!!!! I emailed them about our previous inquiries on the headers for the 3.3's and here is the response I got!!!! Sounds to me like their plans are really solid to produce them and should be coming in the somewhat near future!!! Again...please contact them and keep encouraging them to make them!!

We're gearing up production on the 4.0 trucks. The 3.3's should be coming soon. Thank you for checking with us.

I've been doing that about every other month. They are really good with replying. Like in the other tread mentioned above, they said they would do the 2005+, then start working on the 00+ models.

Re: 05+/4.0L JBA Headers Released - 11/04/06 11:12 AM
Hey guys, I just talked to John in Technical support and got the following feedback.
The headers were designed around the Frontier. It does not have endorsement for the Xterra as of yet. If someone in the San Diego area with an 05+ X could call Jon Towers at Toll free: 800-830-3377 ext 102, they would be more than happy to verify the fitment.
So lets not get to ahead of ourselves with excitement just yet.
Also, the John that I talked to did state that these headers are in fact street legal.

questions... would the test fit set be 'free'?
is the header louder or drone compared to the oem tubular manifolds?
doesn't nissan have a set out for about 6 bills?

I have no idea if it would be free.
I have no idea what the sound changes would be like.
I have no idea if Nissan has brought something out for the vq40

Mike100,
Yes, NISMO came out with headers for the 2005/2006 Xterra the beginning of April.
The original site I bookmarked for them is now a dead link, but I did find this one tonight(scroll about half way down the page):
http://www.nismoparts.com/catalog/?section=570 They're asking ~$580 for them.
