3rd Annual ECXC Announced...... (finally)

I'd like to officially announce the 3rd Annual ECXC which will be held at the Rausch Creek Racing 4x4 Park in Tremont, PA July 25-27th.

I attended the NECXC last year and had a great time, I won't this year as it is too far.

You really should rename it to North East Xterra Challenge, because that is what it is.

Finally ECXC is on a weekend that I don't have to work. I am so there. Already signed up.

Not necessarily. NJAX is setting up a weekend run the last weekend in April. You guys should come on down. Bring on GB&U!

Me and Aaron had talked about going down sometime this year. I'll talk to him and see if he wants to go. He really want to try the Heep out down there. He's put a lot of money into it and it kicks ass off road.

The registration fee covers several things including 4x4 park fees, stickers, food & beverages (including Beer, Soda and Bottled Water) for our Saturday evening blowout, etc.

I have been looking at the website and I can't seem to find photos or descriptions of the trails. What part of the site leads me in that direction?

"The difficulty level of trails vary from 2WD & 4WD access roads to extreme, hardcore, you will probably roll your truck if you're not careful trails. Several trails will accommodate all level of riders with bypasses for more difficult obstacles."

I believe the the location for the run will be at a brand new park and the trails will probably get defined as time goes on.

The park is brand new, not even opened yet (park's grand opening is the weekend of April 5th). I have a couple photos of the trails, but nothing that would really show you what it is like. The terrain is similar to Paragon. You can visit www.rauschcreekracing.com, check out the 4x4 park info and look for a write up about the October Open Run. There's a decent right up about the park's first run with a few pictures.

I just saw that ECXC is in Tremont, PA this year. I grew up about 12 miles from there. Tremont, as a town, leaves a little to be desired. But, the area is very condusive to off roading. I may have to check it out. How do I register? I only have my X for about a month and have yet to put in 4 WD. So I'm looking forward to doing some off raoding, but nothing to severe, as my X has only stock equipment.
