Just a few more months till goneMOAB. Things are moving along nicely. It looks like we will have magazine coverage again this year along with a few other surprises.
Please take the time to register for this years event. A good time will be had by all.

We are still looking for a trail bosses. Each trail boss and tail gunner will get a $25.00 Chevron gas card each time they lead or bat clean up on a trail.

Woo hoo!!!

I'm starting to get excited! My stock X is getting ready, M/Ts were mounted last week and sliders will be here next week. CB radio is in the garage ready to be mounted when I find a good place for it, money for GPS is growing(unless I spend it on something else...) power inverter is in but not hardwired...mud flaps are coming off when I get around to it...Idler Arm Brace is in the garage waiting to be put on...this long road trip is going to be great. Would it be a wise decision for me to purchase a CB radio if i plan on going to MOAB??

If so what is a good brand... And I dont want a huge whip or anything i just want one of those sturdy fat ones.

Most people run the FRS/GMRS radios that is where most of the chat happens.

Uniden 510xl and a firestick antenna (use the firehole (cable,ground pkg) too if your bumper has a CB ant mount. Small, powerful cb, and the best antennas..

We will be making another showing....in 2008. We are planning on heading out for a 2 week stay this time. Really miss not going this time, we had a blast meeting all you guys/gals last year. Have a beer for us and we'll see you in 2008

OH and yes it is a life time experience you will not be dissapointed.

Carlton, I still regard that night as one of the top 3 nights of my entire camping career.... and that was even w/o a camp fire! Perfect weather and temp! Although the farts the next day from all of the beer and your Mountain House grub was a bit much.

Ohh, cool... I thought it was going to be some really expensive gadget that I had to keep hooked up in my truck... Thanks man, im going to buy a set of these tomorrow!!!
