Well, the 2wd is the same as a 4wd in respect to what tires you can fit. 31's will fit with minimal trimming. You started getting to 32's you'll rub more and need to trim more. Anything more than that, we're talking lifts of all sorts. The first question is- what size rims do you have? The bigger thr rim, the more expensive the tire is going to be. And the Rim will also limit how big the tires can be before rubbing.

Well heres the problem,by the way I appreciate the help, I have a 2wd. I have just ordered wheels from disount tire and they will arrive next week. the guy told me to go with a 15x8 rim and a 235/75r-15 bfg m/t. Im asuming that this tire is equivalent to a "30"? Is this the most agressive look I could have gotten or did this guy not know shit? If I could fit a 31 I want a damm 31! eek

You can totally fit a 31. You just trim the part where the front mud flaps go. (It's about 2 inches of plastic that gets cut closest to the engine. I'll post a pic soon.) If you do, however, you'll lose the use of the mudflaps in front at least.

The guy at discount is an ass. 235 is about a 28" tire. On the other hand it is what is listed as the stock tire for a 2wd...Just tell the guy what size you want.

What wheels did you order from discount tire? Doesn't the offset have somethin to do with the rubbing issue too?
