looking to buy or build a roof rack for 2009 xterra. Cannot have it stick up more than a few inches due to garage clearance. The best one I have seen is from Garvin - wildernessracks.com. Any better ones out there? Has anyone built there own?

Try these

VOYAGER ROOF RACKS, not sure about 2nd gen
Baja Rack, which is what I have on my first gen. They don't list Xterra on the web site but I talked to them in May at Overland Expo and they said it was a special order, again not sure about 2nd gen. Great rack and about half the cost of a Gobi.
