No X's at Moab - 10/04/05 10:32 PM
We finally drove to Moab for a little off-roading last week after having our X for three years. We had never been to the area before. The scenery was incredible. We'll be back for sure!
We were disappointed to see no modified X's anywhere on the trails or in town. In fact we saw no modified NISSANS anywhere either--No Hardbodies, Frontiers, or Pathfinders. It seemed to be mainly Jeeps (of course) and a few Toyotas. We did see a couple of stock X's in town.
We aren't heavily modified either--just sliders, skid plates, and M/T's. I just figured we'd see at least one other Nissan owner that had modded their vehicle for off-roading.
Is this typical? Is it rare to see another X (or other Nissan) on the trails at Moab? For some reason I figured we'd see a lot of Xterras there.
Maybe because I visit this website, it seems like there are more Xterra owners that are into off-roading than there actually are.
