Z1 High Performance Module??? - 27/10/03 09:53 AM

First - I like to thank everyone on this board and the amount of resource that can be found here. And for the most part people are very helpul.

There's a new product..

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2439085967

I have a 3.5" lift, KN Aircharger, and Gibson Exhaust.

I've been looking at a few other performance mods such as the Jet Performance Chip, Nology HOTWIRES, grounding out kits, and this Z1 High Performance.

I've elminated the Jet Performance Chip. I hear their product isn't the most tangiable gain.

I'm seriously taking a look at the Nology Hotwires and their universal grounding wire.

Two questions:

1) Does anyone know about these Z1 High Performance Modules?

2) With the intake and exhaust what other performance mods should I be looking into - any recommendations with pros and cons would be appreciated.

There was another item similar to this posted last week. Everyone said to avoid it because they trick the computer into thinking it's getting more air than it is. It could damage your ride.

It's basically a $.05 resistor with some fancy packaging. Save your money!

In fact, I think that guy has been selling under multiple names to make it look like there are a lot of these products out there and they really work. A lot of the "performance modules" on eBay are just like that one - little black box with red and black wires sticking out of it.

One other negative - you have to cut your temperature sensor wires to install it. You can't go back after that.
